Clinical Experience
During her time at TCU, Christine focused her training on Auditory-Verbal therapy with supervision from a founding member of Auditory-Verbal International. Her master’s thesis focused on parent training in Auditory-Verbal therapy. She received clinical training at Our Children's House at Baylor outpatient pediatric clinic treating a variety of communication disorders, and at Harris Methodist Hospital, where she saw adults in inpatient acute, long-term acute, and outpatient settings.
Christine spent her clinical fellowship year at Chattering Children in Richmond, Virginia providing mentored Auditory-Verbal therapy. She has over 1,200 hours of experience in Auditory-Verbal therapy, and has received training using standard Auditory-Verbal Curriculum. While at Chattering Children, Christine founded the research department, and had the pleasure in engaging in collaborative projects with the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Virginia. She opened EFSH in 2008.
